what is our foundation about?
This Special Therapeutic class is a Project run by the Dr. N.M.J. Foundation since its inception in 1996 has striven to make an all-round difference to the lives of mentally challenged individuals. At New Panvel there is only one school for mentally challenged students. In this School the students from Old Panvel and Adiwasi area taking advantage. The Vocational training Centre is also started for adult mentally challenged students which makes them self-supported and Independent.
our activities
In our school, children are given education in writing, reading, mathematics, general knowledge, which is useful in daily life, according to their intellectual ability. Arts, sports, painting, handicrafts are taught in it. Successful efforts are made to empower them economically in the society by imparting vocational training which should be mentioned mainly. Disha Abhiyan for students and programs prepared by Divyang Welfare Commissionerate, Pune are implemented along with CBSE. Logico laughs his way through this. Students are given vocational oriented formal education by visiting various educational, social places, taking trips, celebrating festivals in school.

Dr. N.M.J Foundation maximizes the potential of children with Intellectual disable by providing customized, low cost therapies and special education one root and by empowering parents with the knowledge, skills and confidence to support their child’s unique needs and development.
Our vision is children with Intellectual disable participate and recognized in their families as well as in the societies and communities and realize their own unique abilities in life.
Our children with intellectual disable have to live in society and interact with their communities. Thus inclusion is necessary for these children to achieve their full potential.
